This painting brought to you by humidity! Luckily we are in the middle of monsoon season so my paper stayed wet enough for the colors to actually "dance"!
This is my second try which actually looks quite a bit like the first except on this one I didn't add the weird horizon line suggested by the video artist. Interestingly, I used the same colors of blue top and bottom though they certainly didn't react the same.

Oh, this is beautiful! I found the same thing that the top and bottom reacted differently. I really like the "dance" you achieved! Yay for humidity, it really does make a difference with watercolor!

This is awesome. I see what you mean about more dancing on top than bottom and I guess the wetter, the more dance. But, I really like the bottom one, also, and your gold ink in the bottom one. I wondered about that middle line, too. Anyway, yours is great, as always, and so glad you joined in.

Really like the dancing of your painting brought by humidity. That's what I wanted to achieve and it just wouldn't dance. Need to try it with different paper. The twinkling H20 yellow really mixed well with the other watercolors. Sure learn a lot from all of you artists. Glad you shared your painting with us.

I love how your blue paint just danced itself into the most perfect clouds. Awesome!

This is the best of the bunch! Of all the gallery, this is the most beautiful! You really nailed the technique. Leaving out that line I think was a good choice.
