This is for today's watercolour challenge, where we watched a wonderful calming Zen . It was the perfect time to use my 300 lb Arches cold press paper, along with Prussian Blue and Yellow Ochre water colour. I have a bit more movement in the top one than the bottom, but hey! I love sending cards like this to my friends from class, as they love the ideas. There are more details and picture on my blog.
Thanks for looking.

Looks great, Kia, and I love the torn bottom of the card. Bet your friends will love this, too. It's great to pass on good watercolor ideas.

Actually, I think you got a fair amount of movement on the bottom where you added the ochre and some very interesting 'blooms' there. I do like your horizon line - you made it work for you!

I loved the free flow of this project! Just watching what the colors would do on their own in reacting with the water was a zen kind of moment.

It's a great card! I love the torn edge and that your brush strokes at the edge are not all even. Always fun to receive a card with hand painted scenes.
