This card is for Aunt Betty's 94th birthday! She loves everything about a farm, so I took three Jim Holtz animals and stacked them up to wish her well. The hardest part was getting the animals precisely on top of each other. After they were in place, I masked the animals and sponged the green background. I added the black panels to evoke barn door hinges.

Great minds think alike, we have pretty much the same idea, Faith! (Or, as my son says, we think alike, therefore we have great minds, LOL!) I love how you stacked the animals, the use of hinges and that red gingham!

Great work with the stacking - I find that hard too, and even with careful masking and stamp positioners, it's easy to go wrong. I like the gingham, and think the hinges were a super addition.

Love the rooster and pig perched on top of the cow - great work getting them all stacked up. Nice faux hinges and layering, too - and the gingham really gives it a farm feel.

Your floating sentiment and red gingham panel add just the right look to your whimsical farm animals! Your barn door hinges are so clever!
