I have the pleasure of being your hostess this week. I always look forward to Christmas in July - it starts me thinking about holiday cards. And I love working with non-traditional colors. That said, I'm not sure pink and green are too far off the traditional. But I must say that after choosing these colors I had a bit of a hard time deciding what to do.
I thought the Evergreen could easily overpower the other colors, so I thought a CAS card would be best. I am very pleased with how this turned out.
This card was fairly simple to make. In fact I used this same layout but with another stamp set for another color challenge on different blog.
I hope you will join us this week. We look forward to seeing your beautiful creations!

Jeanne, this is so lovely! I see exactly what you mean about initially being not sure if I could pull it off, but it is so not far from the traditional red and green and is really such a brilliant choice. Thank you! Once I got going I can think of so many things I would love to try with this combination.Your card is such a perfect balance of these colors and a wonderful layout design.

This is a CAS beauty, Jeanne! I love all the texture--the base card, the die-cut vase and the flowers and gems. This week's color combo was fun to work with, so thanks!
