My rendition of R2D2 for James, a 10 year old boy who is having some tough health issues and could use some fun! My grand-nephews are about his age and love Star Wars (probably because of Disneyworld) so I am hoping James is also a fan.
I looked at lots of pics of R2D2 and this is what I came up with. (I think mine is a little chubby and needs to be put on a diet.)

Brilliant punch art, Linda. I bet he will love it. I remember a couple of years ago when the last one came out, a friend's grandson wanted a pinata based on the new robot in that film. I bet this will be a big hit. I can't begin to imagine how many punches you must have used!

This is cute, Linda - I like all the shiny silver decorations. Good thing he is a few cards away from my Texas critter as mine eats "shiny" for every meal - lol I think a mechanical man is perfect for any young boy.

You've put in a lot of work and created a true winner that will please James! So very creative!

Your R2D2 is just the bee's knees, Linda! Oh my goodness, this is a fantastic rendition, and I am in awe of the attention to detail that went into making this robot! Truly a labor of love!

I know that our 10 year old GS would love this. It's in his favourite colour and he would say how cool this was. TFS Happy day
