 | | I've had bits of this sitting on my design table for a couple of weeks and couldn't decide how to finish it. i had the background and the glimmer scraps and I knew it looked like a sign. I was deciding how to finish it without ruining the look. Today was my inspiration day! Here it is: https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/151715081188543833/ from Rachel Turnbull's "Moon Motel" pin on her board "Places as They Used to Be".
I love this pack of printable office stationery that I picked up. The colors are so fun and the best part is that I have 50 sheets to use up!
Okay, here's the Big Deal--my brother's name is Dale. My granddaughter likes to say, "Big Deal". When she met Dale, she heard "Deal", so she called him "Big Deal", so this will be Dale's birthday card. We think he's a Big Deal!
For the pole, I used Soft Suede DTP on the strip, then silver EP and knocked most of it off. It looks like a rusty pole. |
