I was inspired to make several backgrounds after watching a YT video by Bibi Cameron (I have no affiliation with her). The results are similar to those you get with the Faux Patina SCS tutorial, but the technique I used involves photo paper, which works in a unique way with inks. I loved the butterflies in the YT tutorial and made mine based upon those instructions. I had wanted to try making some flowers with a floral die set so these were my first attempts. I was very pleased with the results and ended up giving these away as birthday cards. They do not fit into any type on envelope, unfortunately, due to the 3-D embellishments, so I sent them in shallow boxes. Labor of love!

Welcome to uploading at SCS! Whoa Nelly, your six cards are outstanding. So much depth, texture, shine, everything beautiful!!!! I will check out that YT artist. I hope you look at the daily challenges on the homepage....lots of fun, lots of inspiration. Looks to me like you enjoy mixed media and there is a Friday challenge (MIX) for that. Any questions, either click on 'help' at the top of the page or 'forum', then scroll until you see 'start here.' I hope to see you in a challenge gallery soon. Thanks for all the details, by the way.
