I got my Marilyn Monroe movie titles mixed up. I was thinking "Some Like It Hot" while creating this card for Cathy's fun challenge, but the flying skirt scene was actually from "The 7 Year Itch". I found this "manhole" stenciled scrap, colored and fussy cut Marilyn, stamped the cities on cheap copy paper, as a trial, and decided to go with it, when placed on this Oxide inked and embossed BG from my stash. Yellow craft foam has been laying around Artzadoni Studio way too long, and finally found it's place in the sun. The Dymo label sentiment fit the era and the city grunge tone.

The stencilled scrap, embossed background and bright yellow sun could have been made to go together. Love seeing stash bits used like this. Cool city background.

Creative take on the challenge. The city scape looks great with the background. Reminds me of songs about hot summer nights in the city. Marilyn Monroe is a fun image for your card.

This is so strange...when I saw the challenge, my first thought was Marilyn in the 7 year itch. I don't have Marilyn. I remember watching that movie when I was in middle school, didn't get it at all. I think there is a statue of her somewhere that is in controversy, I forget what. Oh this is perfect!!!!!! Well done!
