I made two cards with the same theme and sets. I have two friends with birthdays this month and one loves purple and the other loves anything. For this one I made what I call a panel card as the strip of white goes across the entire card front. The patterned paper is MFT and the strips of cardstock are a retired SU color. All coloring was done with Spectrum Noir Markers. This is for the Crafters' of Faith July challenge. I needed to use something with wings and I chose a hummingbird.
The verse is: Isaiah 40:31 But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

I love purple, too, and this lavender is so very soothing. The sweet little hummingbird and flowers are colored so gently. This is a terrific card.
