This is for yesterday's CAS-stars and today's tea party for Tymekia-summer!
To me, summer is about gazing at the night sky, sitting around a campfire (assuming there are no bugs) and making S'mores. I'm at a cottage on a lake and one can hear the loons and other wildlife. The night sky is very dark so one can see the stars. It's cooler at night, which is a bonus, especially right now. It's 88 in my house. Gasp!
A few weeks ago, when I was up in the north woods, I went to a globe planetarium for a show on the summer night sky. There are only three globe planetariums in the world and the largest is in northern Wisconsin. The other two are in Chicago and Germany. Very cool!
I did a Brusho background by splattering blues and black. Sprayed Dylusians and Tattered Angels sprays through the stencil, then splattered again with metallic watercolors. A few star sequins, some Nuvo Drops and a lovely sentiment. Jacqueline is a good friend.

The planetarium sounds very cool, must have been a great visit. There's too much light pollution where we are to often see the stars, but I do remember the first time I saw why the Milky Way got its name. I love this - and I'd love to be at that lakeside cottage with you.

Lovely card, perfect sentiment. Memories of my cousin and myself lying in my grandparent's yard chatting and looking up at the stars while the "grown-ups" visited inside the house. Good times.
