I love all the choices you have with this BIG Birthday Wishes die.
For this one, I used an ink blended background I had made some time ago. I cut it to A2 size so that it would not only back my sentiment letters but also edge my focal panel.
I then die cut the sentiment from a piece of Bazzill Diamond Bling cardstock, cutting my panel down to allow the ink blended layer to peek out. To make it easy to adhere, without stressing over glue/glossy accents oozing out, I applied Stick It to the back of my panel before die cutting.
I assembled my card by layering the ink blended panel and the focal panel over my card base. I opted to have my sentiment go from light to dark as I felt the dark WISHES balanced the larger word BIG.
I do like how this card turned out even though this shimmer loving, glitter loving, bling loving crafter so wanted to "dress it up." In the end, however, I decided that, plain or not, the ink blending is the star of the show and I shouldn't meddle.

Beautiful ink blending. Not another thing needed.
