Jayne has us recycling magazines into Art Journals. A few years ago, I got an old water damaged vintage children's story book. This is the cover. I painted all around the bird and bunnies, painted a bit on the bird and bunnies and added the man from the inside after removing his mustache, adding a hat and redoing his hair. I redid the scene. Here is a link to my blog where you can see what the cover looked like before: http://whatsonmykitchencounter.blogs...age-queen.html
Thanks for the inspiration, Jayne!

Wow Nancy this is so cute and cool. I can’t wait to see how the book was originally. I love how you added the man and changed his appearance. Those birds and bunnies are sooo cute. Thank you for playing in my challenge. It’s fun and makes use of old magazines and books that are damaged. Happy day dear friend and lots of hugs

What a great idea Nancy! I have some older books that I could use! I love what you did to the cover! You're inspiring me to have a go at this journal technique!

Wow, I looked at the original and then your "cover!" Awesome how you changed it to make your own. Love how you added the man, too! Unique and clever!
