Oh how I miss these flowers!! My mother had these in her front yard (in the house I grew up in), and they were just so pretty all year long. Birds of Paradise are gorgeous!!

love your take on the IC this week, Amy! The muted stripes add such a visual interest to that exquisite Bird of Paradise!!! Uber cool.
just an aside, my youngest son brought me a bouquet of bird of paradise and large green monstera leaves for Mother's day. So unique. They all opened in their own time, so lasted long.
