I stamped Hero Arts Hibiscus background in Versamark on Vellum cardstock and embossed in white. Cut panel down to smaller rectangle size and adhered a foam panel behind it to raise it up, then glued the panel to the scalloped shimmer layer and then to the Neenah white. I added the butterflies and pearls. I die cut four âhelloâ words and glued them together for durability and dimension, then added to the card.
I really, really like the effect of embossing white on vellum - will definitely be doing this again someday, maybe for a wedding card I need to make this fall.

White embossing on vellum is kinda like frosting on a cake - you just KNOW it's gonna be better than the "diet version". Those dry embossed butterflies look right at home playing follow the leader through your hibiscus garden and I love the pretty pearl centers scattered over your blossoms. Thanks for playing in my challenge today!

Love the look of the vellum, and now I'm mad at myself for never even thinking about that possibility while working on this challenge. All your finishing touches are beautiful.

Great minds think alike…white embossing on vellum! Love your butterfly’s and how they look on your embossed background.

I'm loving seeing all the white embossing on vellum, I think it's such a beautiful look. And the arc of butterflies across the diagonal is a fab design element.
