This card is for the Alpha challenge E = embossing. I dry and heat embossed on this card.
I needed a birthday card for our DIL and had seen a tutorial for making this chalkboard card on YouTube and thought I'd give it a go. It's not my usual style but I love pretty cards and know our DIL does too. The message and sentiment are on the back.
It was fiddly to make the planter box but I finally got there and rather than using stamped flowers as per the tutorial I chose to go with paper flowers out of my stash. I made 3 cards in total, all different colours. Fun technique and especially when you want a pretty card. Mailing might be a little tricky.

This is really pretty...love the woodgrain texture and that sweet lace edged basket. The chalkboard sentiment is perfect to go with those beautiful blooms. This has to be over-the-top prettier than using stamped flowers for sure!

Jayne these cards are gorgeous, a great use of all those flowers, I have a box full! I love he sentiment and colours.
I agree mailing will be difficult!
