Fragments that remain, this frame was a discard from my recent deer in a misty wood card, and it's been hanging round my desk ever since. With a rainy day off today, I paired it with a die from my "use this" pile. I cut the die from watercolour paper and coloured it with Inktense pencils. The moon and stars are Perfect Pearls, so in real life they shine. I inlaid the door back into the house, and the hare's eye and ear. I created a mask to sponge the background behind, using Peeled Paint for the foreground, and wilted violet and chipped sapphire for the sky. The frame ended up being sponged with both peeled paint and brushed corduroy before I was happy with the look. The black matting layer is embossed with a brocade ef. +

Delightful scene. Love all the elements like the rabbit hopping through the flowers and grass and that great cottage. Love the moon and the smoke rising from the chimney. So many great details. Polly is right, it's magical.

A beautiful, whimsical scene...such pretty coloring...soft and lovely. Your framing and black embossed bg makes for a dramatic and delightful conclusion!
