Is there even such a thing? I am sure there is because Golf is everywhere and this week's Tea Party Guest, Larry, loves watching golf and basketball. We were asked to use a French touch as well. I was a bit stumped as to what I would do with that combo until I saw Polly's card and I drew my inspiration from hers: MMTPT674 Golf Fan by peeps321 at Splitcoaststampers
I printed Mo's image and masked him before stamping the Eiffel Tower. I stamped off the ink first so it would be more gray then black. Then I drew a bunch of boxes for my "buildings". I used an image from Google of a rubber stamp (can't remember who, maybe Hero Arts) of the Parisian skyline for the building shapes so hopefully this looks more Parisian than just the Eiffel Tower. Colored the image with the colors from the French flag and streaked blues for the sky and green for the grass with a few dabbles at the edge for bushes. Also matted with the flag colors. I always remember people shouting "Vive La France!" in my hubby's old war movies, which is where I derived my sentiment. Sentiment is computer generated using Winter Creative font.
I'm sorry for Larry and I do hope he's on the mend. But I am just as sorry for Sharon because it ain't easy being the "nurse". I am sending them both lots of positive energy, e-hugs, and prayers for healing, strength and comfort. I do hope Larry isn't an engineer or architect though or he will be aghast at my wonky buildings. Hope your day is happy and not wonky. Cheers. TFL

Adorable! I thought of putting a die cut Eiffel Tower on my card but couldn't work it out...you did it and the highrise bldgs sort of add to the absurdity of a golfing in Paris theme...lol The golfer in plaid vest is the quintessential duffer. Fab card!
Debbie, this is a fantastic take on the challenge! I have to confess that I'm still stumped on what to do, and haven't made my card yet, but your resourcefulness is inspiring me to get off my you-know-what and just do it, LOL! Like Polly, I also love how you dressed up your golfer with the plaid vest, and your Parisian skyline in the background is fab!
