Hello and TFL,
Here is my first attempt at a SUITCASE BOX. I watched a few youtuber's to get this idea. Here is the lady that i used her basic dimensions & instr.
Jenn Cascell
I used a sewing machine to sew the edges of the Handler and the straps and the corner pieces, so it looked like an old fashioned suitcase. : ) new to sewing so definitely not perfect job. hahah
I used that Sizzix surfacez texture paper for the Handle and the inside center piece that connects both boxes. I thought that would be sturdier paper to keep it going longer for this young lady to play with.
Also I used two 12 x 12 S U dsp cardboard back pages for the initial construction, covered those in white paper and then added the dsp, ribbon, cardstock to the top. it is very sturdy at 3 layers thick.
Handle is attached with Doodlebug chunky brads.
Tulle is used to hold the sequins, gems in the dangle'y bit, which is tied onto S U twine and pushed thru hole thee the inside, where twine is tied in a bow and secured with hot glue.
The velcro is under the PINK oval dies to open the straps and reveal the two-sided box Suitcase.
hope this is enough description.
ENJOY!
Teresa
