I'm the hostess for this week's Ways To Use It challenge. This week, we are using Newsprint...or some variation that approximates that look. I was fortunate enough to have our local High School newspaper to use for my card.
Newspaper can be thin, so I glued it down to some card stock before I punch out my bird and branch. A whole lot of sponging later, here is my card.
Thanks for looking!

Beautiful and encouraging, Toni! Love the print and sponging on the bird die cut and I have always loved that canvas background stamp...what a great reminder to grab it off the shelf and ink it up!

Newspapers are hard to come by these days ;) I love your birdie on a branch...very sweet. The proverb and curved edges are a wonderful way to complete your card.

Favourited. Yes, thin papers definitely punch better when a little backing is added. I love your soft sponging and the curved edge. Canvas adds a great look to the background.

The newsprint adds so much interest to the die cut bird. A good thing to remember even when the challenge isn't newsprint...
Fabulous card, Toni, and great challenge!
