Over at the Mix-Ability challenge, we're playing with gels and pastes. I've used TCW stencil butters with Taylored Expressions Daisy stencil. After spreading the butter through the stencil I pressed another stamp into the paste, then added more texture by drawing with a stylus. After it dried, I outlined everything and filled the spaces with zentangles using my Gelly Roll white gel pen.
Gus and Gertie are taking note that even muffins have aspirations! I hope you get a chance to play along. Mixed media projects are fun and easy. Come join us!

Adorable. And gorgeous pastes. Sigh, it's getting next to impossible to order from overseas now, it's better if I don't know about all these beautiful products. The colours look gorgeous against the black. The sentiment made me sigh too, I'm having trouble getting my muffins to rise like they should. On the other hand, the time I wanted flat cupcakes for a wedding, I had to give up trying when I was on my fourth batch, all rising contrary to what the recipe said. Thanks for a fun, inspiring challenge - and the early post .

Fun card and I, too, am loving the bright colors from your "butter", which goes perfectly with cupcake. And, I LOVE that sentiment. Great layout and fun characters to "top" it all off. Great card.
