This was a super fun Technique - spritz some water on your WC paper - paint in some colors from reinkers and watch the bloom. Today I was more about experimenting with different (and some unusual) color combos rather than multiples of a single color combo. (some linked in the Challenge chat)
Our temperatures this past week and continuing onward are what I call "the fires of hell" . . . . when it's still triple digits AFTER midnight . . . . That's what this bg reminded me of so I chose to showcase it.

Oh, awesome! I will go over to challenge chat and check them out! That is what I did too. I love to see how different color combos work. This is gorgeous and what a GREAT sentiment! I am going to spend this day celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday even though there is much to do, I am going to just focus on her!

I love how you've chosen the colors and they blend so well together, the sentiment pops from the colorful bg, it's very hot here in France too, storms are announced for this night and tomorrow, I hope there won't be fires...

You really created the feel of your extremely hot weather with those colors. Glad you enjoyed this challenge. It was fun to see the water and inks to their thing. Hopefully the weather breaks soon. Great that you could join us this week.

Great colors! you got great blending. I think this technique really needs some decent paper. I tried some watercolor papers that I had laying on my table already cut into smaller pieces. Not sure where all of them came from, but I could sure tell the difference in blending when I used the lower quality paper.
