Mary has given us a really unique color combination. I knew it could work though since I have a huge watercolored pansy in my dining room that once I really studied it used these same colors. In fact, I used it as my baackground when I took my photo since it is where I could get the shine on the embossing in the evening light.
I had never tried the technique where you stamp an image using the stamparatus, color it and then use the stamparatus to stamp again for embossing. Though I had used blended Blackberry Bliss into the bodies and edges of my butterflies it doesn't always show well with the embossing so I thought I would add more of it underneath my somewhat 3D butterflies. The card base is Blackberry Bliss.I placed a Basic White negative die cut of the butterflies over this so that the Blackberry shows through from under the wings.
You will have fun with this combination - I can't wait to see what you decide to do with it!

I've never tried that either, Chris. Seems it would be hard to keep the image from moving while coloring it. You've done a beautiful job with it! Love the colors on your pretty butterflies and their golden outlining~
