Phew. I survived this TLC. Just barely. It took me hours, but I did it. Good thing I decided to take my birthday off to spend in my craft room.
A friend asked me to make a birthday card for her one-year-old niece and this is pretty perfect for that occasion. Since I had this Bugaboo frog on my to do list, I figured I'd make a beach scene. I colored the frog and flamingo in bright colors which helped inspire the outer DP. I thought a pink sky would be fun with a cute sun. The next layer is glittery waves using The Cat's Pajamas wave border. The frame is a Waffle Flower die that I won on Instagram early this year. I found some sand DP and die cut with a Poppy Stamps Stitched landscape die and then sat the flamingo on an MFT Grounding Elements die cut. Sure it lays pretty flat, but I still think it needs some extra postage.

This is so adorable. I love the striped front of the card with the glittery letters and then all that fun inside. Anyone who would love this card, but I think a one year will giggle and giggle when she sees this. Fab card. And Happy Birthday.

Beautiful and colorful birthday card, love your beach scene with the sparkling papers and fun images, mine doesn't need extra postage (the stamped one with the eagle and mountains) The more layers you add, the heavier this will be...

What a fun way to spend your birthday, Jen. I hope you had a great day. This is so cute and colourful. I hope your friend keeps it till her niece is old enough to appreciate it, LOL.
