So, there is a bit of a story. that water holder in the back ( the brown one) with the brush rests, it was made for me by one of the ladies I know in real life who is a potter... and I wanted so bad to make these flowers work for a thank you note but, seriously I have too much paint on the brush I think its going to take more than 4 days to figure this one out. so, I tried a few in colors that were just left over on the pallet but, the bulk of these "Xray" colored ones are done with QoR paynes gray. ( I have ordered some Daniel Smith kind in case it is better, the other sets I have do not have this color, I can get some blue tint on the palette but, it seems to be kinda blah on this paper when dry. ) This is about 4 nights after work attempts before I decided this was enough was enough and I made her a card with one of the lavender tutorial ones that was the tutorial a while back that at the time I had just set aside. Thanks for this challenge Linda & tfl. (oh, and the ones in the spiral book of sheets are on the back side of something else maybe flower or leaf practice so, maybe that makes a difference too) who knows, I figure I will get this eventually.

Stacy, I think you've got it. The bottom two sheets look great. Can't see the other one well enough to tell. I see a lot of transparency in the blooms....just what we were looking for in the challenge. I think you could make a wonderful card now.

I think my favorites are the ones in the book. You were busy! You may not be happy with them, but I'm sure you can find something to use them for. Never throw anything away!
Stacy, I think you are way too critical! I really think these look wonderful! I am so glad you shared all of them with us! The paint palette is gorgeous! Thanks so much for playing along!

Stacy, I think you have this technique down to a fine art! There is a lovely consistency in the size and shape of those petals and I really like how incredibly sheer the Payne's gray appears. My favorite bloom of all is the center flower on the lower left hand panel . . . . I'd figure out a way to salvage that and use it on a card, for sure!
