The Featured Stamper this week is Laura (aka StampHappy) and she certainly practices what she preaches because her Gallery is filled with happiness. She has so many of my favorite things...Birds, Butterflies, Flowers, oh my...but as soon as I spotted this card I knew it was the one I was going to CASE: Delicate Cherry Blossom by ScrappyHappy at Splitcoaststampers
My friend's other son is now engaged and I am making some bridal shower and wedding cards for her again. Laura's delicate bloom gave me an immediate idea for my card. Laura used a very cool tissue paper background for her texture and to highlight her bloom. For the bg on my card, I heat embossed two panels with the same bg stamp -- one in silver and one in white. Cut them to size and matted with shiny silver cs. The Penny Black die is really lovely but I wanted some flowers so I could add the silver stickles to the center. So I glued some of the flowers from the Concord & 9th set over the flowers on the PB die and added the Stickles. The sentiment is computer generated using Alex Brush and FoglihtenNo01 fonts. Die cut with a fancy frame and then die cut two more times. The third frame I cut in half and glued both sides to one edge of sentiment so it could overlap the panel without sagging. I know it's difficult to see the white embossing on the screen, but trust me, it shows up in real life. In my haste to finish the card this morning, I forgot it was embossed and glued the flowers on the panel upside down. And it definitely showed when I held it up to inspect. Too bad I didn't inspect sooner. LOL.
Congratulations Laura on being selected this week's Featured Stamper. You have a beautifully bright and happy collection and I bookmarked a couple other cards to go back and CASE another day. I hope everyone is having a bright and happy day. TFL.

Debbie, this is a stunning card. I love how you used the background text stamp with both white and silver embossing. The die cut flowers and silver branch are gorgeous.

This is beautiful! I did a large, intricate X-stitch (which hangs on our living room wall) that contains 1 Corinthians 13 4-8. Such a beautiful bible and so perfect for a bride. This is beautiful and meaningful!

Gorgeous! Fantastic heat embossing! Idea using white and silver heat embossing, extremely creative. Delicate die cut flowers with Stickle centers, perfect.
