I glued my paperclips and the Letters (stacks of 3 glued together) on my cardstock, let dry. Used lilac metallic Acrylic Paint all over. Dried with heat gun. Used black Acrylic Paint all over. Removed some with a babywipe, dried with heatgun again. Used Inka gold over the whole backgrund, let dry, polished it with a soft cloth. Two brads where set in the butterfly wings. Stamped and embossed my sentiment, splattered with gold.

Great job on this! I hope it goes to a fellow crafter because only a fellow crafter appreciates all the time, love and talent that goes into a project like this!

Gorgeous card Dagmar and I love every little detail. The colors are so rich and on my screen it looks very metallic. All those steps you used to make this paid off because it's a fabulous card.

The metallic paints look great, it obviously was not a problem having no foil tape. I really like your idea of using paperclips. This looks like a piece of enamelling.
