This is my first attempt at WCW054 - skeleton flowers. Well actually it isn't - the first one got more water than required thanks to my other half having a water pistol shoot out with the kids next door! I was sitting on the deck but too close to the "fight" when it started. I quickly moved inside.

Beautifully done in yellow, Janine, and I love the stem and leaves. You really achieved the transparency. I'm sure you weren't in for a pistol shoot out when you went to the deck. Ha

First I just love the shape of this flower and the abundance of petals which really gives a complete look to the bloom. But I think the thing that surprises me most is the sheerness of the yellow petals . . . . one of the artists earlier in our watercolor journey had mentioned that all yellow pigments tended to be Very OPAQUE but you have managed to prove her wrong on that count!!
