What a beautiful site! I saved a few other things but the first thing I saw that really sent me were the vases. I'm a geek about glass. I thought it would make a great background, using yesterday's MIX (reverse stenciling) but what to put on it? Then I found the faces....I'm a geek about funky faces. So the geek squad told me what to do.
I used many acrylic paints, mostly metallic, different brands. I used Gesso on the wc paper, painted on some stripes of copper and gold and used a stencil with some straight lines, a bit wonky, thick and thin lines. Wiped with a baby wipe, then turned the stencil around and added more paint, adding some ice blue metallic. I mixed three paints to get the dark blue for the faces (that stencil is Dina Wakely, I think). Added some micro beads for emphasis and used an oldie but goodie sentiment. I had a blast!

You certainly aced your inspiration pieces! Beautiful Picasso! I don't even own most of the things used to create this card. My DH said, "What is gesso?" I told him I didn't know.

WOW...you nailed the inspiration pieces and I love your reverse stenciling. Those faces are fab and I almost missed the microbeads....glad I read the entire description...how cool to use those to emphasize the outlines.

Wow..another awesome card. I shall have to read how you did your BG again…it is amazing and at first I thought it was a paper towel BG. Love the faces. They remind me of Dina Wakley’s stamps. All in all just awesome. TFS. Happy day
