It's always good to have sympathy (both human and pet) cards on hand.
I stamped the image in brown ink once, then stamped off two more times, getting the image lighter each time. I love the idea of the dog wagging its tail right to the end of its life.
Added a sentiment above and trimmed the panel down before adding it to an embossed background.

My dog wags her tail when the food is being prepared. She also wags her tail when it is potty time outdoors ! Love your sympathy cards, Susan. Well done...

The disappearing pups say it all.

Love everything about this card, except for the fact that it made me teary eyed!
Your thought of a dog wagging its tail (showing its heart) right to the end of life is perfectly represented in how you designed this card.
Popping this into my Favs as an inspiration piece when I need a dog sympathy. TFS!

I loved this card so much I went on a search for this long ago retired D is for Dog stamp set. Found one on eBay, seller accepted my offer and I should have it soon!
Thank you for including the name of the set in your description and thank you for inspiring me with your neat card.
