Thank you, Sabrina, for the Ways To Use It Challenge to use torn paper on a card. I just so happened to have this small scrap of photo paper with the colors already on it and right next to it was the butterfly! How could I not make use of these?
I was not really sure how photo paper would tear satisfactorily and it was a bit stubborn but it came out fine. I am quite pleased with the results.
Wanting to make the fern die cut shiny like the photo paper, I stamped the image on Granny Apple with VersaMark and then heat embossed it with clear EP.

Oh, I was going to ask was that the coffee filter technique, and then I saw you had it listed. It's such a great technique, and the tearing with the white edges (I always struggle with remembering which direction to tear to get the white edges showing) is a lovely interface between the textured background and the coloured print.

I really like what you did with the torn paper, making it a bg for the flora and butterfly!
