I am also entering this card in Splitcoasts' F4A588"My Favorites," as watercolor is one of my absolute favorite artistic mediums. Thanks to engaging in a few Let's Make Art Watercolor boxes over the past two years,I've started to gain a teeeeeeensy weensy bit of understanding of how to work with a medium that used to absolutely frustrate me (Oh how I would love to find the painting I did of my Hank back in the one art class I took in High School - it was a labor of love but let me tell you, I was ashamed of what it looked like in the end and thought I'd never watercolor again!).
Also entering in CAS639, Diagonal: the floral blooms are placed at an angle for interest: and the Fan Club Theme this month (as it is for a special member of my God-given family!).
Thanks so much for the challenges and for viewing my card!
Blessings,
C

Spectacular creation!!!! You made those blooms just pop with your watercoloring. Once playing with watercolors, you can get hooked. They are additive. Thanks for sharing!!! Fav'd

What an elegant and beautiful card! I love the kraft base with the subtle splatters and textured white under the modern font. Such a fantastic design! Saving to favorites!

Those flowers positively glow! They look wonderful contrasted with the kraft background. I took art in high school too and haven't tried even one WC challenge yet so good on you!

I think you did a wonderful job painting those flowers. Have you tried Kuretake Zig clean color markers with a water brush on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper (pad)? You can buy the pad at Joann's store in the painting supply aisle. Make sure it says "Bristol SMOOTH", because Strathmore makes different kinds of paper and the pads look a like. That's all I use now and it is so easy and quick to color an image. It's important that you use Versafine onyx black ink also when stamping your image.
Before I forget......thank you so much for leaving that nice comment on my card.

BEAUTIFUL blooms...love their simple display with the metallic twine and your sweet Nuvo drops (what perfection you achieved in their symmetry) that add just the right finish!
