I have been doing my experimental painting on an index card. Biggest reason is they are cheap and I don't feel bad if I "mess" up so it is very freeing to just try something new. I like these transparent flowers.

I like these transparent flowers too. How sweet that you've painted 2 of them. Great job! I hesitated on using yellow, but after looking at yours, I think it's a perfect color for this type bloom~

I agree with Roberta...would not think the yellow would look good. I was wrong, it's fantastic. Lovely blue gray flower too. You did a great job practicing on the index cards. It's hard to use good paper while practicing. Just have fun and enjoy the process. Thanks for playing in the challenge.

Love both your transparent flowers. Good idea with the index cards when experimenting. It's terrible to ruin good watercolor paper....been there and done that. Ugh

Great job with both of your blooms Marilyn. Love that you picked yellow as a colour, I think it suits this kind of technique. Thanks for joining us this week.
