It's been a long 8 week dry spell from card making! But slowly returning. Very simple as I'm still on the mend. I totally cheated by printing out my lawn mower fellow from the internet. I did chalk the grass, shadows and clouds. Used left over die cut grass in 2 layers. Inked top layer a bit and added 2 - 3D butterflies for accents. I sprayed with sealer to preserve chalked areas. My son's birthday card. Cut and fold my cards.

This is terrific! Digital images are fine to use. Love the fun pun, especially with this image. The die-cut and chalked grass looks great! Fabulous card for your son, Betty. He will enjoy it.

I wouldn't even know how to print out this fun guy. He is hilarious though. Love the look on his face. Love how much depth you achieved on the grass! So glad your are on the mend!

So darn cute and fun. I think using a digital image is not cheating at all -- it's creative and this card certainly is. Love that you made the grass so BIG. Adds to the humor. Great clouds and scene layout and your pun is spot on. Great BD card. And, it's also great to see you back in the Gallery.

Betty, it is great to see you back making cards. This one is a wonderful guy card for your son. I love the sponged grass looking back away from the up close grass. Bet your son is going to love this card. Take care and hope you are recovered completely very soon.

Glad to hear you are on the mend, but sorry you were not well. You found a great image and I love how you chalked the grass along with the diecuts. The clouds turned out great too
