Summer seems to be a popular theme for this week for many stamping challenges, so I thought it would fit this encouraging, sunny theme for the MMTPT card this week too. I also used this for Retro Rubber challenge that requires an old stamp must be used. The stamps on this card are probably at least 10 years old. I like doing that challenge because I have quite a collection of stamps over the 25 years I have been collectioning them. This palm tree is one of my all time favorites from SU.

Well ditto your sis! What a perfect card for all those challenges and John. I believe my very first upload used that SU stamp. Love, love this card. Hit that fav button, too, mdf.

Awesome scene....imaging being on this beach would lift anyone's mood. I have a lot of old stamps too but it seems many of the rubber ones are turning hard and unusable..:(

John says, "You can't beat the beach." We love all the texture and the layering. Those swirly waves remind us of Sandy Beach, on the Big Island. A wild experience. Sand got in places it shouldn't have been! Thanks for this and and memory, Liz.

Lots of fun elements on this beach scene - I particularly like the corrugated piece at the bottom that segues into the softer sand as it works it's way to the water's edge.
