I cut the yellow in 1-1/4"x3/4" pieces and scored down the center. I folded each one and cut a curve from about 1/2 way up to the top of the fold, forming petals. Then I glued them onto a 2-1/4" circle. The center is embossed with a cobblestone embossing folder and opens to reveal the sentiment. I rubbed antique linen oxide ink over the bumps on the embossing. (Of course, my husband thinks the center looks like a cookie! LOL) This will fit in an A2 envelope.

What fun for someone to receive such a pretty sunflower card in the mail. Had a smile about your hubby and the cookie center.

What a pretty sunflower, Melody. It looks bigger than an A2 card. What a lovely surprise it will be for your recipient....I like the cookie idea of your hubby!

what a lovely sun flower Melody! Great texture with the folded petals and embossed dots center - wouldn't someone love to pull this out of an envelope!
