Today Dawn has challenged us to show our favorite things. I have a lot of favorites. For one, my card needed orange. But it took me a little while to decide between fish and tea. Ultimately, I chose fish because making a scene is also my favorite. I used stamps from my two favorite stamp companies--MFT and Avery Elle. Sting rays are my favorite thing at the aquarium. I love to pet them. Glitter is also my favorite, so I had to add that. Oh, and puns. Puns are my favorite. I also used my favorite stencil on the ground for some light/water reflection. Paper Glaze has become a favorite supply of mine which leads to Janelle's MIX challenge. I chose to fill my grooves with Paper Glaze. I used a Cuttlebug EF and scraped blue Paper Glaze over it. I love that I now have another fun use of both embossing folders and Paper Glaze! I know Dawn already said this, but you guys are all my favorite too! Hugs!

And you are one of my favorite SCS posters because I enjoy all the things you listed as your favorites too -- not necessarily on my cards, but definitely on your cards -- especially your puns and your write-ups. Adorable card. Love that you used a foliage ef for the bg. Very cool effect. Very cool card.

Oh, I really like that ef but I'd never have imagined how well it would work for an underwater scene. I must remember that.
I was bummed because I had seen an underwater set that I kept saying no I don't need it, and by the time I thought hey, DH could give me that as an anniversary present, it was sold out. It had a manta ray . Fab card, Jen.

Stunning! Using favorites makes the project come alive! So glad that the embossing folder idea works for you! I’ll have to look into paper glaze now! 😉

I have that embossing folder and never figured out a way to use it! It looks awesome as an underwater background for these delightful and masterfully colored sea critters!! Beautiful work, Jennifer!!
