Today Dawn gave us a challenge about our favorites. My favorite medium is water colors. One thing that makes me happy is when I can make a card that is personal and the recipient knows they are special. My granddaughter asked me to make a card for her best bud through all of school. Thought a portrait would be ideal. I don't do faces well, so decided to do the back version of the two of them graduating this Sunday. Sketched and erased, but finally had something that looked presentable. Watercolored, and added details with the micron pen. The sentiment was hand printed. Ava loved it so that make me feel good. Aww! I have tears popping into my eyes thinking of those 2 girls and all they have managed to accomplish! Staying friends through all of school is #1 on my list! I wish them the best, if they can get through school during a pandemic they can do anything! Your watercolor is going to wow them both! This is stunning!
