Inspired by the Color Challenge - Sipping Cider in the Moonlight by the Evergreen and the dessert to make it masculine. This card is for my husband. I went with the masculine outdoor theme as I thought the colors would work for land, trees, water. We honeymooned in Lake Tahoe 39 years ago this month so it works great!
The scene was stamped with the three colors, layered on the evergreen, onto white that was stamped with a birch background and stitched die-cut and then onto a cider card base. I added a touch of Wink of Stella to the darker parts of the water so it would glisten. The wood embellishments added to the masculine feel. Over the decades, through difficult times with our health, our children's health, life circumstances, we often say 'Love never gives up because God never lets go'. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the wood piece with Misty Moonlight ink. Terrific color combo! Thanks for looking.

Awww... I love your story and I love this card. It does remind me of Lake Tahoe. The beautiful image goes perfectly with the birch background. I'm sure your husband will absolutely love it!

This stamp set was the perfect selection for this week's colors, and I love, love, love what you did with it. I also smiled when I read your personal story about your honeymoon and the saying you always use. Love that you were able to incorporate it into this card!

Fantastic scene with this great stamp set. It is perfect for this weeks colors. I love the birch BG too. My MIL recently went out east and a friend gave her actual birch bark for me to use on a card or two. I can't wait to try using it.
