SC856 = I did use twine for panel #3 of today's sketch.
WCW053 = painting a bumblebee. Excellent video that demonstrated two approaches.....one, loose...the other, realistic. I feel my card is sort of an amalgam of both.
In May there were dozens of huge bumblebees working the flowers on the ajuga groundcover in the yard. That inspired the blue-purple flowers.

Wow! Sallie you are just so talented in Watercolor! If you are not teaching and making lots of money charging for your talent, you should be! Or maybe like me then it would be something you had to do and it might take some of the enjoyment out of it. I love seeing all of your beautiful creations and I especially love this bumble bee and Lilac. That's what I'm calling it because I love them and don't have them in TX.

Love this card, Sallie. Your bee is so realistic and I love the flower, also. Wonderful you had so many bees on your ajuga ...we need them.

I love this beautiful card, and I need to work on those speckles. I haven't quite gotten that trick down yet either. Your work is amazing!
