This week Chris gave us some fun colors to work with. For the Teapot challenge, Jenn is encouraging us to send cheerful greetings to Lee Ann who loves dogs.
I used the Boston Terrier die for my main image. For the background I used the color challenge colors of alcohol ink on vellum. The cream panel was embossed with a crackle embossing folder. I took my Peanut Brittle ink pad and added ink to the raised portion of the embossed panel. Using a stitched border die I created a narrow panel and adhered it horizontally to ground the Terrier. I matted the panels with Cinnamon Cider and Mossy Meadow cardstock. The sentiment was computer generated and die cut with a word bubble die.

What a cute pup, Rita. Love your a.i./vellum background and so cool to personalize your card for Lee Ann. The e.f. adds lots more interest to an already fun card. Love how you grounded your pup!

Well, you rocked the color challenge AND the tea potter challenge for my girlfriend! I can’t wait to her happy mail starts to come in. This is so cute and she used to have a couple boston terriers that she inherited from her folks! Thanks!

All your layers each add so much interest and color and texture to your card and they really make your adorable dog shine. The wavy border to ground him was the perfect choice. This card makes me want to cuddle up with some cute pup. And kudos on the personalized sentiment. Wonderful card.
