This week's Featured Stamper, Daine Malcor, not only makes beautiful cards, she takes some really great trips with her family and friends. Check out all her scrapbook pages -- I now have new vacation destinations to CASE as well as fun cards. And I am CASEing this happy card: Passion Bouquet by Diane Malcor at Splitcoaststampers
Diane's card reminded me of this striped die, which I love. I usually do it in black and white, but I have a ton of blue and green paper so I went that direction. Originally I die cut the stripes in green, but there wasn't enough contrast. So I switched it out for white and then added a very thin green frame around it to get that touch of green I wanted. I also wanted a thin frame around the image, so after I die cut the white I trimmed in down to fit inside the same size green die cut frame. I have been using this flower set a lot lately because I really like the size. It's not exactly a layering flower as it only has one solid and one outline stamp for each image. So I stamped the flowers and leaves in two shades of the color just to add some interest. I used Press N Seal paper to help me organize the flowers and get them glued down. Finished off with stickles.
Congratulations Diane on being selected Featured Stamper. I so enjoyed walking down memory lane with you and admiring your pages along with your cards. I hope you enjoy your week and the cards made in your honor. And I hope everyone is having a fun and inky weekend too. TFL

Debbie, this looks so good in the blue and green. The white stripes frame gives this a fresh and crisp look. The Stickles centers look beautiful on your pretty flowers. (Thanks for the enabling, lol)
