Diane Malcor is this week's featured stamper. She has a super cool gallery full of cards and scrapbook pages. I loved how she colored the kitty on this one:
I fully intended to use a kitty image I have, but somehow on the way to the craft room, it morphed in to a gray toned friends card instead.
I used a fun free digital download from SU! This card is going to my friend, Michele, who has traveled the world and will appreciate the words. I spent the day with her and my Sister yesterday, and we all three hugged at the end of the day just like this!
I stayed with gray, a single framed image and words on the bottom, but I moved my words on top of the image (had to cover up a little error - lol), no embossing, and less layers. I also added in some stenciling and some vintage photo ink (can't resist). I also added in Stickles for fun.
Congrats, Diane, and I hope you enjoy your week!!!!

Beautiful card and image. Loving the neutral pallet and the bg stenciling adds the perfect backdrop. Makes me want to hug my family friends too. Big hugs to you. Wonderful card.

This image is the BEST! I love it so much...wonderful done in neutrals and the German saying is perfect (no translation needed here..although my German is a bit rusty)...I am operating at a hug deficit because of last year so I'm hugging as much as I can. ;) Sending you some virtual hugs Nancy!

I agree with Ardyth, this touched me so very much...even before I read your commentary, Nancy! I love you kept it monochromatic. I love the you added the sparkle to the three heads. Wise women. The stenciled bg is just fantastic. I think of it as God's covering over these friends. So very inspired, mf
