Brenda is our hostess for the Watercolor Wednesday Challenge this week and she has chosen a tulip tutorial for us to follow.
This has been one of those weeks so I decided right off the bat that I was going to use a stamp and not wrestle with my pitiful drawing skills! I stamped the flowers in fade-out ink and watercolored with Daniel Smith Watercolors. I followed along with the tutorial for painting the flowers. I love how she added yellow in one of her flowers!

That is a beautiful stamp and I don't blame you for using it at all. Your water colour is beautifully done Angela, the colours working wonderfully together.

Beautiful image and now I want that one. Ha Your tulips are placed so perfectly in the corner and I am liking you added a bit of yellow to the pink....makes them look so real.

Love the combo of pinks intensifying to purples in the shadows of your tulips. The kiss of yellow on the curves has a very natural feel - a small detail that adds pizzazz.

Lovely card, Angie. I really like your transparent layers of color. One looking at your card knows immediately that watercolor was your medium. Well done!
