The tutorial shows three tulips but I only painted one. You can do whichever you choose....all, one or two.
After I sketched and watercolored my tulip, I embossed the border, then added some blue for the background. Next, was the sentiment and some splatters.
Hope you'll join us the week.

One of my favourite colours of Tulips is the red. This is a beauty Brenda and the splatters - you know how much I love splatters. Thank you for hosting tonight, I enjoyed painting today - just chillin' with my paint and paper!
Brenda, this is so gorgeous! I love the brilliant red and the lovely background. The embossing is so eye-catching! Beautifully done and thank you for a lovely tutorial!

I love red tulips and you have done a super job of defining your petals with the deeper shadows. I especially like how the deep tones on the far back petal help us see the feathery edge on the left side. Thanks for another great challenge.

Beautiful card and I really like that you used only the single bloom. It really spotlights your wonderful painting. The embossed border is a nice addition. Awesome card.
