Today's Featured Stamper, Aimeslee aka 123scrap, has a smile inducing Gallery filled with fun images, decorative papers and wonderful designs. I chose her Grateful Thanksgiving card to CASE: SC68 Grateful Thanksgiving by 123scrap at Splitcoaststampers
I used the colors from the main image and her card title as my jumping off point. The image somehow reminded me of this old dp that I have had forever. I didn't have a beautiful Arts Nouveau woman, so I went with iconic Arts Nouveau architecture, the Eiffel Tower. I had these tiny bird dies that I never thought I would use; but, they were perfect for this card. So, like Aimeslee, I added a die cut flourish and the birds along with the sentiment. And, Voila!
This card was a stretch for me because I don't combine dps and colors all that well which is one reason I do few collage type cards. I'm not in love with the color variation between the bg and the panel with the tower, but the more I let it sit and stare at me, the better I like it. Congratulations Aimeslee on being this week's Featured Stamper. I hope you enjoy the week and all the cards you have inspired. And, I hope everyone has a fun, inky weekend and that whatever you make stares at you til you are happy with it too. Hugs and TFL

I love the flourished curves with birds worked into it and a wonderful color combo too that coordinates so beautifully with your design paper. I just love Graphics 45 designs because of their unique vintage images and their rich and wonderful color combos. So glad to see it in the gallery.
