Today's Featured Stamper is Aimeslee (aka 123scrap). I chose this sweet card to case: The Polar Xpress is Here! by 123scrap at Splitcoaststampers
I have been wanting to try a slimline card, and this sketch was perfect for the scene. I stamped the bears, shaded with watercolor pencil and added paper pieced scarves. I tried embossing a snowflake border for the bottom strip, but it didn't look right, so I tore two strips and used a blending brush to add some blue highlights. Some of the embossing is visible up close, but it looked interesting and I hate to waste paper, so I used it. The baby bear is popped up on dimensionals. I used a rounded corner punch for my corner elements; there is a strip of the icy blue paper underneath which just peeks out when the card is closed.

This card is SO COOL! I love the images and the way you highlighted them and pieced their scarves. The ripped paper snow looks fabulous and I especially love the double white and blue circles. It reminds me of a new moon and I think if you were in the far North the moon would probably look like you could touch it. Awesome card and you rocked the slimline design.
