This was a Mother's day project. I got this "My Quiet Doll" idea from a fun sewing video tutorial website called Stitches by Julia. The doll is pinked from felt and the clothing was cut out from fabric scraps that had fusible interfacing ironed on the back first so that it wouldn't ravel when cutting out the stamped images. Each piece has a little Velcro hook and loop tape glued on for easy attachment when changing wardrobes. The 5x7 fabric booklet has a 3" clear border strip of vinyl sewn along the bottom to hold the pieces. There's a little Velcro on the sides of the book to keep it shut. The outside cover is a different fabric pattern with a cloth hand lettered "My Quiet Doll" label and a little embroidered flower. I gave it to my dear step-daughter to tuck in her purse for those times when my sweet 2 1/2 year old granddaughter needs to be quietly occupied. So fun to make and give!
