Today's challenge is a technique called Misted Watercolor - the tutorial is found here. Misted Watercolor Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
Execution is actually fairly simple - the hard part for an OCD person like me is letting go mentally and emotionally long enough to allow myself to "color outside the lines"! When all is said and done . . . and dried . . . I am actually quite pleased with how this turned out.
Can't decide how to rate the difficulty of this project so emotionally a 5 but actual painting a 2

I love your honestly. One week we are letting the water do everything, and now we were to add extra detail. You nailed the technique. Lovely soft background with your misting. You added terrific detail to the blooms with the shading and highlighting. It is a gorgeous card. TFS

Oh you make me laugh with the comment about coloring outside the lines. That is so me! The struggle to let the water flow. This did turn out lovely, though.

Oh, your atmospheric paint flow is fabulous! It IS hard to color outside the lines. So, much so, that I think I sort of forgot that part! haha. I kept misting and misting. I am going to create another today, we shall see if I do better with coloring outside the lines! Your painting is a stunner! The flowers are gorgeous and I really like the extra pop the white paint centers give! Beautiful!

Ooh, what a beauty you created this week. Wonderful misting and coloring. Plus, I like that sentiment and your beautiful colors.

Well I was hooked on the colors alone, but then spending some time just gazing at the flowers and I can hardly pull myself away to go on commenting. Totally gorgeous! You should be super pleased!

I'm laughing at the emotional value of 5....oh I hear you loud and clear. Sometimes it's just how much time one spends on something. I think I was always meant to color outside the lines, just needed to give myself permission. Your creation is beyond beautiful, it is stunning. So much depth.
