This is my sample for CC844. LeAnn is our hostess and she chose so saffron, pool party and mint macaron for her color trio. Dessert option this week is dots. I did use one faceted enamel dot in the center of my flower.
For this card I used the contents of the March 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit - No Matter the Weather- from Stampin'-Up. The background was in the kit as was the so saffron rain boots.
I cut some flowers from a CottageCutz die in so saffron cardstock then sponged with so saffron and fossilized amber ink to get a deeper color shade. The leaves are cut in mint macaron and then sponged with the same ink to get a deeper color.
The sentiment is from another Paper Pumpkin kit and I stamped in basic gray and my card is finished.
Hope you can play along with us this week. LeAnn has chosen some soft colors for your card creations.

Well, this Seattle girl is used to the rain, but what a happy twist on rain boots to add some pretty spring flowers to them! I love the way you used the background paper and placed the boots--and the greeting is perfect, too!

This is so pretty, Mary. How clever it was to place the flowers in the rain boots! Adding gray underneath the boots really emulates wet cement on a rainy day. Nice!
