Our hostess, Julie, wondered if there were robin's in this week's Featured Stamper's Gallery. I found a cardinal but no robins. I also found a ton of beautiful and inspirational cards in Robyn Rasset's Gallery. Robyn has a number of beautiful cards featuring trees and I landed on this one:
I have purchased several tree stamps recently, but reached back to one of my earliest tree stamps because her card reminded me of this stamp. I used markers in my Misti just to add a little more dimension. You really don't need to because the stamp will do it for you. The bottom of this stamp is squared off, which I don't like; so, I just swiped some ink marks along the edge instead of filling it all in. Finally, I used my dies to emboss a straight frame instead of Robyn's stitched wonky frame. I was going to add a sentiment, but decided to stay true Robyn's design and let the tree speak for itself.
Congratulations Robyn you have a fabulous set of cards both to enjoy viewing and to inspire. I hope you enjoy your week and the cards made in your honor. And, I hope everyone's week is filled with beauty. TFL.

Debbie, you do trees so well. I love the way the inking came out and the tree is beautiful. Lovely case. I wish you would do a video showing how you do the inking! Hugz

Beautiful tree! It looks like it is sprinkled with pewter EP and embossed. Maybe it's just the picture and I'm seeing things that aren't there, but it is definitely beautiful in my eyes.

Debbie, this is a beautiful case of Robyn's card. I love the simplicity of this majestic tree with the simple white background and white frame. The grassy area at the foot of the tree is creative and the perfect touch to complete the scene. It's gorgeous.
